MTV caught up with director Robert Zemeckis, who revealed quite a shock by announcing his possible next project.

Zemeckis said, "I'll tell you what is buzzing around in my head now that we have the ability—the digital tools, performance capture—I'm starting to think about [Who Framed] Roger Rabbit."

See him say it for yourself by watching the video below:

I THINK IT'S A GREAT IDEA, BUT MAKE A SEQUEL NOT A REMAKE, AND WITH ALL THE NEW CG TECH. OF TODAY IT SHOULD LOOK GREAT ON SCREEN ! NOW IF THEY CAN HURRY THE FUCK UP WITH GHOSTBUSTERS 3 !

i like some remakes but this they should not mess with

If they do another Roger Rabbit movie, I bet they'll find a way to profit off of it by making it into a lame cartoon tv show.

This can't possibly work! It's a movie specifically for the 80's. There's been attempts to do the whole cartoon/live action combo since then and they're always shitty. Certain things work because of the time they come out, like I don't think they could've made Ghostbuster in any other decade but the 80's and have it work perfectly like it did or even well.

HOLD THE PHONES... REMAKE"!!!!!!!!!! I havent seen this movie in years.. but I do have some good memories... and last time I saw it I was 15 and still had fun... Why kill a good movie

....um....please don't. I don't think I would mind a more faithful telling of the book which was very dark and the movie had little in common with it outside of same character names. The movie was perfect the first time and there is no need to improve it or retell it!

I love Robert Zemeckis but he cannot redo this movie. He just can't

There is no reason for this movie to be redone! Its perfect the way it is and there isn't a single flaw I can think of....

Wait, okay I liked; Jessica's boobs were a bit too bouncy but still.

By digital tools does he mean all CG or make cleaner and clearer animations?
Comment by MadDecent on May 1, 2009 at 4:16pm
WOAH?

Don't remake.
Sequel would be nice.
Comment by AdventChild on May 1, 2009 at 1:17pm
Oh crap! Please don't recreate it w/ CGI it'll just ruin it! At least, do a sequel with the same 2D animation.

Still, I feel violated from this.
