I'm reviewing the wresting game with the character creator, the story creator, the move set creator, and a whole bunch of other needless but fun creators... is the title correct?

Anyway, let's start off with the good of this game:
The customization. Dear. God. It's like being a fat kid in a candy store for people like me who love to create characters in games. I re-created the most awesome character ever (From about 5 years ago in another wrestling game), PinkasaurausRex, my favorite character Deadpool, and a few other random but oddly awesome characters. The customization will blow your mind out of the back of your skull with it's variety. You can even create a story, albeit without any dialogue, but you can pick from a variety of different animations to set up the fight scenes of your story. Or you can just make random encounters that end in punches in random sequence that make absolutely no sense. That's pretty much what I did. You can even create a finisher, which is kick-ass to see in action (It works much like to THPS create-a-trick from the old games).
The gameplay is pretty fun, too. The controls can take a while to grasp because there are so many different things you can do, but to the point where it's almost annoying. Half of the sh** i have on my moves list I NEVER have used. The core gameplay in many modes is simple: Beat your opponent into brutal submission. Of course, there are a SLEW of different modes like 4-way-brawls, Ladder matches, and cage matches with rodesian fighting sticks.
Okay, I made that last one up. But that'd be cool. The gameplay is kind of slow and sluggish later in the matches, especially when mashing the A button for 20 seconds while your character crawls up in a slow-motion version of the same animation he used in the beginning of the match when first knocked down. The later portions of the matches are the worst, and more often then not you'll just restart them to get back to the faster action.
Playing with your friends is fun, as is online multiplayer. I only played online once, I'm not really an online guy, but the splitscreen multiplayer was a blast. I kicked my friend Alex's ass with Deadpool, continuously backflipping onto his nearly lifeless corpse. (That's another problem with the gameplay: When your have someone stunned, you're going to be pounding them for the next two minutes because of the slow recovery and dodging. It all depends on who gets the first swing)

Onto the Bad:
The graphics. There's just something weird about them. The textures are kind of choppy, there's some clipping, the animations randomly twitch whilst in mid-air, stuff like that. It's not the models that look bad, it's what they do. It just lacks a certain amount of polish that I've come to expect from sports games.
The soundtrack, jesus christ. It's full of plain annoying songs from awful wannabe metal bands and pathetic rappers. The songs are full of rediculous lyrics like, "Somebody's gonna get their ass kicked! Somebody's gonna get their weave split!" Their weave split? Seriously? God damn. Be kind to your ears and just play your own custom soundtrack.

So all in all it's a so-so game, with a few gameplay inconsistencies and lacking some polish. If nothing else keeps you, the huge amount of customization will.
