This is one of those Warner Brother DC comics collaborations. Now I wasn't hugely impressed by Superman Doomsday, but I thought this one was much better. This movie is around 70 minutes but it packs LOTS of action. I wasn't bored a second watching this. I'm not a big fan of this kind of animation, but it kind of worked here. I thought they did a really good job of explaining her origins. The voice acting was very impressive, I was pleasently surprised Alfred Molina was cast as Ares, god of war. Russell and Fillion both were perfectly cast. The dialogue is very well-written and smart for this kind of movie.
As for the not so great aspects of the movie... As good as some of the dialogue is in the 1st quarter some of it is really bad. Some of the Amazonian crap felt a little cheesy. I thought the final act was predictable and the movie should have been longer.
In the end this is a movie that is really entertaining. I think it can appeal to folks who know and love this character, (and those like me) who don't really know much about Wonder Woman. This is one of the best direct-to-dvd movies I've seen in a while. You should definitely rent Wonder Woman.
I'd like to see her kick the crap out of Aquaman
Wonder Woman 8/10 Impressive
