Wilson and Gordon-Levitt Join Indie Dramedy

The Hollywood Reporter says that actors Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Rainn Wilson have joined Natalie Portman in Hesher, an indie dramedy written and being directed by Spencer Susser.
The story centers on a loser 20-something who invades the life of an awkward 13-year-old who is living with a pill-popping father and grandmother.
Gordon-Levitt is playing the title character, a good and bad influence on the boy's life. Wilson is the dad trying to keep his family together after the death of his wife.
Portman, who is co-producing the film, plays a supermarket worker for whom the kid falls for after she saves him from a bully.
Hesher begins shooting next week in Los Angeles.

Sounds kinda cool. Gordon-Levitt is an awesome actor, and seeing Rainn Wilson play a character that isn't "over the top retarded man child" would be really cool. Also....
Natalie Portman is HOT!

While I'm really happy to see Rainn Wilson get a cool role, I'm not sure if I can picture him as a teenager's father since I'm so used to seeing him as Dwight on The Office. However, I hope he does well in it.
