December 2009, a much simpler time. Exictment was building for future films such as "Avatar", "Sherlock Holmes" and of course "Alvin and The Chimpmunks, the squeakeul". Little did the world know that they were about to be introduced to the most rambuctious family to ever hit television since the Cosbys. Season one of the shore introduced us to a great cast of characters. Body freak the situation, spikey haired Pauly, Tig Bitties Jwoww, Sammi Sweatheart, family man Vinny Big Ron and lil Snookie. Through all of the craziness that was season one of Jersey Shore, there were some honest to God genuine moments. Sam and Ronnies relathionship in season one featured a couple "awwwwww that's so sweet" moments. The show also had plenty of laugh out loud moments to go around. By Christmas 2009, Jersey Shore was on the worldwide radar. The season one reunion ended with Sam and Ronnie breaking up. EPIC FORESHADOWING!!!!

                 Season 2 was the first time I realized why this show has connected with so many people. The characters, and yes I'll get to why I called them characters in a second. The characters of Mike "The Situation", Vinnny and Pauly "WE WANT TO BE THESE PEOPLE"!!!!! We want to hump a new chick every single night without consequence. These guys know what they are doing. They can't live like this forever, they want to live it up while the can. The drama was great with Angelina, Sam and Ron rekindled there relathionship. Overall, season two was better than season one. Season three featured what it usually a negative sign for any show, a new cast member would be joining the shore!

                  Season three was downright tragic in parts, freakin hilarious but also really genuine. If Jersey Shore was fiction, everyone would call it the Italian "Seinfeld". Season three was a HUGE soap opera. Drama for ya mama up the ass. Pure and total escapism. If anyone told me this show was stupid, they would be absolutly right. If someone said the show was pointless, they would be right. If someone said these people get paid too much, you'd be right. "Jersey Shore" is for the most part, fiction, a very small amount of people live their lives like that. I know that. We all live crazy lives, I go to movies to get away from that, I watch Jersey Shore to be entertained. I honestly think if I were to ever meet these people, they would be friendly. Don't act like you haven't done any of the immature shit that is done on the show. In a time when the national debt is in the bagillions, we are in two wars. Things are kinda messed up. Most TV and movies can be pretty heavy nowadays. In a time like this, "Jersey Shore" is the type of show we need. Not because we're stupid, because we're tired. Tired of our boring lives and exicted for a fist pumping good time!
