Okay i am going to be honest, I am not a "big" fan of the cliche of tv shows throwing twelve different plot twists at the viewers. I might be able to overlook that if the way that the show does it is right. Now with the current series of twists with the seventh season of 24, they have jumped from a dictator type from Sangala, to Jon Voight wanting to bomb America. I went in the current season expecting this, so when it happened I was able to follow, and I got to say that I don't really mind it anymore. So in the beginning of the season, we see Jack Bauer (
Keifer Sutherland) on trial for his uses of illegal torture, by Senator Blaine Mayer. A lot of 24 fans are not going to like this, but I do. Because it shows that everyone is responsible for their actions, and it shows that Jack is a person and he also needs to act within the rules. But after thinking that, I noticed that I spoke without thinking, because who wants to see JACK BAUER follow the rules? To carry on with the plot, the trial is interrupted so that Jack can help with a pending terrorist attack. The thing I love about tv shows like this is that they give us cool names like Ike Dubaku, General Benjamin Juma, and the coolest of all
Isaach De Bankole as Ule Matobo. Some cool car crashes, gun and fist fights ensue, we learn that Jon Voight (I don't think I need a IMDB hyperlink for Jon Voight) is the head of Starkwood Securities, a company with biological weapons. Is it me or is there great acting throughout the entire series? Love it so far.
