Happy Birthday Roboto posted a statusFor lack of a better term, the newest trailer for 'The Amazing Spider-Man' is well... amazing. Now that more of the visual effects are complete, we finally get a much better look at some of the more intense moments of the film including more of the POV sequences, Spider-Man webslinging around town, and some of the incredible fight scenes (including one that takes place on the ceiling!). The new trailer also emphasizes the focus of the new film - Peter Parker's search for answers about his parent's mysterious disappearance and The Lizard unleashing some kind of biological attack upon New York City. Directed by Marc Webb and starring Andrew Garfield, Rhys Ifans, and Emma Stone, 'The Amazing Spider-Man' swings into theaters on July 3rd.

Comment by Matt93 on May 7, 2012 at 5:35pm Feeling a little better about this movie, but I still don't really care. The spiderman movies have some pretty glaring flaws, and if they can rectify some of them thats ok, but still its a bad year for this to come out.
Comment by Kyle Roger on May 7, 2012 at 2:25pm Yeah, yeah. In and of itself, it looks like a pretty cool superhero movie. That still doesn't stop the fact that it's a reboot of a trilogy that was finished only 6 years ago, which is shameful, and that it's just borrowing successful thematic elements from the recent Batman movies. I hope I don't like this. I might, but I hope I don't.
Comment by SpiderMan on May 7, 2012 at 11:11am why in the comics they made him die
Comment by Soulredeemer92 on May 7, 2012 at 5:46am You know i watched Spiderman 2 the other day and i have to say that the original trilogy should be called "The Many Adventures of Peter Parker's Love Life" With special guest Spider-Man. But seriously i hope this movie have a healthy dose of Spiderman and shows how interesting and intelligent Peter's character really is, instead of him taking most of the movie telling somebody how much loves them.
Comment by Nikhil Sunil on May 6, 2012 at 11:25pm Some of the CGI looks a bit unfinished but im sure it'll be better by the time its released. I gotta say though, this trailer has me excited.
Comment by Omegaman20 on May 6, 2012 at 10:43pm Too much CG looking
Comment by Nobody on May 6, 2012 at 2:41pm Am I the only one who thinks that the lizard man looks terrible?
Comment by TheCrazyDiamond on May 6, 2012 at 1:48pm I'm not so sure if I would go so far as to say 'amazing', but it is looking at least serviceable at this point. The little one-liners seem to be cute, but I'm still a bit worried that this will feel too much like the first Raimi movie. Couldn't we have skipped the origin story entirely for this Spider-man? We all know the story.
Looking forward to it, but with a healthy dose of skepticism.
Comment by Hector Fernando Andrade JR. II on May 6, 2012 at 1:02pm The action scenes in this movie look cool but they look like scenes from the Spider-Man 2 video game for Play Station 2.
The action scenes in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy look a lot more realistic.
Comment by The Dubya on May 6, 2012 at 9:41am ....okay fine, it looks AIGHT I guess.
