You guys really are picky. Music was fine, visuals amazing, acting was ok, everything was just fine. It wasn't as good as the graphic novel of course, but if I as a huge fan of Watchmen, wasn't really pissed of about anything in a movie, it means they did very good adaptation, as far as I'm concern.
Full Price.
BTW, In LTD Co-host said something about his review. It'll be text or you guys will make audio ( like you did with TDK)? It would be very cool.
Gotta go with Co-host on this all the way, I think you guys must have been fans from long ago and from just the way things are going the older hardcore fans have problems because they have already made the movie in their own mind, How it should look and play out.
Newer fans i think can just take it for what it is, No masterpiece but still a good flick.
Also everyone says Watchmen is the most impossible story to put to the big screen.......well read DUNE and when they gets done right then i'll eat my own shit because it will never happen.
I enjoyed the movie, but there were two things desturbing me.
1) The score. Jesus... This music was there als if someone pressed a play-button. BAMM. Music suckers! It was way too dominant, too obvious.
2) Haven´t read the grafic-novel I stumbled over this fake cat-monster right from Eternia. It was poorly animated and just out of place.
Ohh... and I if have a No.3. I was major disturbed by the audience. Stupid childish idiots, probably expecting something silly like spiderman, complaining an joking through the whole move! But that´s not the movies fault.
This movie was the definition of EVENT movie, I LOVED it because I went in with a packed midnight theater and it was a Blast, we even applauded when Rorschach gave his famous "Your in here with me moment". The only gripes I had in this viewing was the music choice, IT SUCKED! Cant say much more because of the attitude we all had, so Im gonna go see it again with buddys who aren't staying up maybe then Ill find some faults, but this for me was Full Price.

Hey look someone got it right! Alan Moore can't stand movies but he sure does love his Saturday morning cartoons just like the Spill Crew!!! you dopes.
For never reading the Graphic Novel (I will this weekend though), I thought this was good to watch for the graphics, some of the characters I actually got bored with execpt for Rorschach's story secences. That really did pull me in, kind of reminds me of the serial killer Se7en. Other than not being able to get pulled in the story through most of the story, but this fucking person next to me texting because she was bored with it, and even worse she laughed at the things that weren't that funny, and over dramatized the body explosions or the body mutilations. I MEAN DRAMATIZED! I just say Matinee just incase some other people run into what I did. Hello Graphic Novel Book on DVD... just kidding Books are better.
I could post a really long detailed review and what I liked and disliked about this (and what was left out for reasons unknown to me), but I'll just say it was pretty enjoyable, albeit flawed as hell.
This group is for the planning of a Spill get together and party in May of 2010. New York, Jersey, D'ware, Maryland Dc and beyond. Let's hook up in the city it all started.
We really do need an alternate alphabet system...
(( The Latin Alphabet is good for communication, but the Irish need something that works.))
