Watching The Golden Globes with the Crew
Look, just because we love movies doesn't mean we have to love movie award shows (or any award shows, for that matter). The schmaltz, the dumb red carpet interviews, the self-congratulatory audience, the awful musical numbers that seem to get worse every year. The only way to sit through any of these programs is to get some beers and make fun of the whole thing. And that's exactly what we plan on doing.
But we don't want to do it alone. It's soooo much more fun when you guys, the loyal members of Spill, join us. That's why I, Metal Virgin, and whoever else in the Spill crew that isn't busy doing something better invite you to join us as we watch The Golden Globes during a live Ustream broadcast. No promises, but we might even take some calls. I'll put the number up just in case.
We'll start at 7:00 pm central and end hopefully around 10 pm, providing people shut up and get the hell off the stage during their acceptance speeches. We've done this before and it was a lot of fun, this time shouldn't be any different.
The Golden Globes air tonight Sunday, January 16th at 5pm PST/ 8 pm EST/ 7 pm CST. See you there? We damn sure hope so.

Today's live commentary of the globes was mind-boggling. I laughed an laughed till I fell asleep round half past four. U know in Slovakia the globes were from 2:00am to 5:00am but with U guys it was worth it!
