Watch 'The Avengers' Alternate Opening Scene
More goodies from the upcoming 'Avengers' Blu-ray have leaked. Last week the home release's outstanding gag reel hit the web and now we have the alternate opening for the film. It's an out-of-sequence intro that sees agent Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) being interrogated by the counsel after the attack on New York. It's not terrible, but both tonally and for the sake of the overall narrative, I can completely understand why it was scrapped and I am glad that it was. However, it's interesting to see what might have been. Take a look at the opening clip below and let us know what you think.

I think with this alternate opening, the story would've been radically changed. The way things would go would probably lead into her spear heading the effort of the Superhero Registration Act and probably the creation of SWORD.

Turned it off at somewhere around the minute mark. The actress is atrocious.
