Ok so welcome to another review by my amazing self about a bunch of people stuck in a fucking cube. So lets dig in now won't we.

Plot: That's a problem with the film and perhaps one of its hugest problem and that's the fact that the film's plot is like paper thin, but hey who gives a shit it's a horror movie right well no, not really. But the "basicness" of the plot is that a bunch of people with certain abilities are stuck in a cube that has 17,000 something rooms inside of it ,with a majority of these rooms having a trap that is triggered in unique ways and the people basically want the fuck out of this almost mirroring "rat cage".

Good Shit: Now lets get to the good "mofoing" shit, and even with its paper thin plot and lack of horror, (See Bad Shit), I found this surprisingly an amazingly well made and a really good film. First I must say even though it has a paper thin plot,(See Bad Shit), it has a really original idea behind it, tell me how many movies before 1997 that actually had a sci-fi cube that people had to get the fuck out of, you can't really find one. Next is that as though I thought the acting at first was really amateurish,(Ditto),as the film progressed the more the actors got better at conveying "the ooh my fucking god were going to die mentality." Another thing I actually found really pleasant was that the way the characters chewed away at each other and made them change throughout the film, which causes great character development. I also found the whole mystery surrounding the cube and what was outside of it to be quite interesting. I also found the direction to be also pretty good but nothing special. The last thing I got to say I liked about the film is the fact that the characters don't feel like they were drawn from a straw hat, they each have there own personalities and own abilities.

Bad Shit: Now it's time for some bad shit and if you've actually been reading my review then you should know that I find the film to be lacking in plot and lacking in horror. But what was not horror was replaced with suspense. In which the film lacked in plot it made up in character, or you should know I felt the acting in the beginning  was sub par but it made it up in progression of the acting itself. But the real itch under my balls that kept this film from being a phenomenal or even excellent film is that it made the film so complicated that ordinary people couldn't understand fucking anything, that and the fact they needed a mentally disabled character in a horror film.

The Final Verdict: The film is really good for a horror film but isn't no "The Thing" or "Halloween", it's a really underrated film that I have the balls to say you must see. Its an interesting character study with a "Saw" plot. So I personally give it a:
