Valkyrie Review
Its Christmas time and you know what that means….. Hitler!
All right so I was able to preview the new Tom Cruise film titled “Valkyrie”. To start things off I really enjoyed this movie a lot.
This movie has an all star cast that includes:
Tom Cruise
Christian Berkel
Kenneth Branagh
Kevin McNally
Carice van Houten
Bill Nighy
David Schofield
Terence Stamp
Now for those of you history buffs out there (and I’m speaking to all three of you), you probably know how the story goes and how it ends but don’t let that stop you from seeing this amazing film.
Its nice to see Tom Cruise back from his past few years in the spot light as in this film you can tell that he was very serious about his role and really put a lot into it. The only thing better was the cast, which was phenomenal.
As you might know this movie is going to be released on the 25th of December (Christmas Day) so if you are looking for a funny, feel good family film you might want to get a ticket to Adam Sandlers “Bed Time Stories” but we are in the midst of Oscar season and although it is not the best movie to come out this year it is a great one at that and it really proves itself.
Overall my finale rating of this movie would be:
FULL PRICE!!!
The only thing that would have made this film better is if Tom Cruise was to play Les Grossman just to see him go up against Hitler now that’s Oscar worthy!

I am so anxious to see this movie, and while I wish it was up there with the other Oscar-buzzing films I'm sure it won't dissapoint.

I'm just glad these Brits (who always seem to like playing either Romans or Nazis) didn't bother with the German accent. Same with Tom Cruise. The movie seems to come off as more of a play than a visual language.
Btw anyone catch the History channel version of how the real attempt on Hitler's life went? Talk about a comedy of errors. I really enjoyed the part where they dropped an explosive in his wine and it didn't go off. It's funny that the conspirators got nailed after something like 3 botched attempts. Um, you think they'd narrow it down by that time? lol.
