Trailer For The 84th Academy Awards
With all the negativity that has surrounded this year's Oscar ceremony, I'll admit I found this cheesy trailer for the ceremony to be refreshing. In the trailer, Josh Duhamel and Megan Fox, don't ask me why those two, are on an epic guest to find the elusive figure known as The Host. Yeah, it's Billy Crystal, no big shocker there. If this is an example of the kind of comedy we can expect from this year's show, then it will most likely prove to be exactly the type of show we've come to expect. Not terrible, just a bit flat. Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think. The 84th Academy Awards airs on ABC on February 26th at 7e/4p.

A trailer for the Oscars? Is this new?
Apart from the fact Billy Crystal looked like Judi Dench in "Chronicles of Riddick", I enjoyed this very much. I'm looking forward to the ones that are sure to follow -- though preferably with bigger stars / better actors.
Anyway, glad to see Mister Oscar returning. Hoorah!

The Oscars are so dull now, when the biggest thing after the Oscars on TV is what kind of outfit every celebrity wore then we know we have a problem. I like(d) Billy, but they need to sharpen the whole event and he doesn't have it in him. I find it funny that Megan Fox had 2 lines and I completely forgot what she said 2 minutes after the video.

Oof. Talk about flat. Megan Fox has TWO lines, and she manages to make it sound like she was forced to spend time with relatives or something.
