The film, which stars Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman, takes a look at life for Nelson Mandela after the fall of apartheid in South Africa during his first term as president when campaigned to host the 1995 Rugby World Cup event as an opportunity to unite his countrymen.
Prepare for another depressing story. Yay, I'm named after this man!
But in all sense, I am so looking forward to this, not a fan of Sports films, but this I am so going to see. A double feature after Avatar. Gotta love Clint Eastwood.
Ok if Morgan Freeman doesn't get an oscar for this, WTF. but still I have to wait and see if it is indeed a good movie. Have my fingers crossed.
Looks good. Morgan Freeman seems to be in top form, but Matt Damon's all right, not great. But I'm glad to see Clint Eastwood strecthing himself even further as a director.
Hier Kom Die Bokke, Hier Kom Die Bokke. It seem if you wanna make a good movie these days you have set it in South Africa. The movie looks pretty good, they even got the old logos and old South African flag out, which is impressive. Also I wonder how non-South Africans audiences will like the movie, while the story is generic to everyone else, to South Africans the 1995 world cup is like folklore.
