I would like to start off by saying this isnt really a review as much as it is my thoughts on the movie..I just kinda type what i am thinking

Well with nothing else to do on Christmas night me and some friends went to the movies. And not to my thrill we went and saw Valkyrie. Which was not a bad movie at all except for some flaws like the spill guys mentioned the accents oh they drove me up the wall. Apparently this film was more like a British imitation of what happened oh and then the one American guy (Tom Cruise). I think I could count on one hand how many people spoke with some kinda of German accents UH TWO! And they were not the most important characters ever. But other than that this movie was somewhat entertaing.Even at the high points of the movie were the final plan is starting to take off I kinda lost my thoughts and thought hell yea for these guys they might do it. but then I realize no that’s right Hitler doesn’t die and these guys fail! You really already know what happens before the movie even starts because lets face it most of us have all taken history and learned about WW2 and if you haven’t well then you need to write a letter to some one. But back to the topic.
Tom Cruise plays Claus von Stauffenberg a man who from the very beginning you know he doesn’t like this war and he is put in Africa which seems like a type of punishment for speaking out against Hitler. After being Shot and blown up he gets his chance for revenge but like most plans some dude screws it up.. I mean this plan was almost flawless. And I say almost well because he had some weaker links that could have been easily fixed.
Like for instance what type of wood stops a friken bomb he should have used a bigger bomb? I think I had more questions by the end of this movie than i did at the beginning And by the end of the movie all i was thinking was well they had guns and they even had little gun easily hide able under those uniforms why didn’t some one just shot Hitler?. I Know that would take some serious dedication and yes you would be shot right after wards but hey when you chop off the snakes head the body dies. Then they could have used the Valkyrie plan to take Germany and get rid of the rest of hitters circle… and why wasn’t Claus von Stauffenberg (tom cruise) and the rest of the crew first phone call to like the British or America? Maybe even before they put their plan into action?. I mean it would have been an easy phone call hey we want to kill Hitler will you help? Even France would have maybe joined in.lol. And why didn’t they take control of the people in charge of sending off the letter and messages then Hitler and his people would have had no chance to communicate?.
Even if Hitler had lived maybe they could have put an end to it sooner. Then again it only took 9 more months for Hitler to kill himself and the war to end. Which was pointed out by one of the member of Secret Germany but no one wanted to listen to that guy? I really think that in this Society of Secret Germany only maybe 3 or 4 were really in to killing Hitler for good intentions but the rest were well greedy old guys that wanted to do things their way. This movie does show a different side to the Nazi’s of Germany that i learned about in school turns out the weren’t all Jew haters and were born with hearts. Why Germany protested to this movie who knows...
