Recently throughout the summer, I've been seeing a lot of action-sci fi films. I said to myself later on, why aren't there more auteurs in cinema these days. I know Quentin released his film, and Wes Anderson has his coming up, but other than that everything is pretty much the same, except for District 9, but saying that only one movie so far out of the whole summer is a pretty sad statement, maybe its studios being lazy and not putting heart and soul in their movies anymore. Or maybe it's technology taking place in the cinema instead of story. Whatever happens to films, I hope that someone still out there has the passion to make good films.
