I loved that cartoon when I was a little kid, I even remember crying during it. (What? Don't judge me. <_<)

The one thing that keeps me hopeful about this movie, is that in the first trailer we see the kid ride through a barren wasteland, and even the fact that he meets the Onceller means that at some point in this movie things go down hill. So I don't think they can screw up the main message of the story too badly unless they do something incredibly stupid at the very end. I kinda liked Despicable Me, even though I didn't think it was anything special, just a nice little, sweet, story, so I'll atleast give these guys a shot.

I'm probably the only other person who agreed with Leon and Despicable me, that it was boring and typical nothing new at all, just another movie to sell whatever crap they can ship over here from China. Dreamworks just has to stop acting like Pixar, they are never going to be better then Pixar not even close, besides it just comes down to two words, "Micky Mouse". The Lorax was all about saving our environment, a simple story with a powerful message that again Dreamworks has gone and over looked for the sake of money.
