Comment by Hayley Fischer the Brony on April 2, 2012 at 8:01pm I know I'm late, but I have to give The Lorax a solid rental. It could've been better without the stupid songs, including the Once-ler's rap number.

Comment by Hector Fernando Andrade JR. II on March 17, 2012 at 11:00pm The Lorax is a beautiful, charming, hilarious and touching computer-animated 3-D musical comedy movie with a fun and touching story, delightful and funny voice acting performances from Zac Efron as Ted Wiggins, Taylor Swift as Audrey, Rob Riggle as the villianous mayor Aloysius O'Hare, Danny DeVito as The Lorax and especally Ed Helms as The Once-ler.
The Lorax also features creative and passionate directing by Chris Renaud and Kyle Balda, fantastic animation by Illumination Entertainment, effective 3D, awesome musical numbers and a sweet message about protecting nature because if we do not then the earth will keep getting messier and eventually destroyed.
I truly recomend this movie to fans of the wonderful book and the fun and touching T.V. special from 1972.
I give The Lorax 4 out of 5 stars. A Full Price!!
I've read the book, and it's the people should read. I was at IMdb when I noticed this, "Unlike the original book, the Once-ler is shown fully in the story as a human. Executive producer Christopher Meledandri said of the change, "The minute you make the Once-ler a monster, you allow the audience to interpret that the problem is caused by somebody who is different from me, and it ceases to be a story that is about all of us. Then it's a story about, 'Oh I see, the person who led us into the predicament is not a person. It's somebody very, very different.' And so it takes you off the hook." But the problem is that IT TAKES AWAY THE MESSAGE OF THE BOOK.

Comment by Chris Kelly on March 7, 2012 at 9:10am Chris Van Allsberg's "Just A Dream" is pretty good at making you think about environmentalism too. Definitely worth the read, and sounds like it might have made a better movie. Probably won't be seeing this one, aside from the fact that a 28 year old seeing a kid's cartoon would be pretty unsettling anyway. Thanks again Spill Crew, hilarious as always
Comment by Robert Watt on March 5, 2012 at 5:45pm To Herman, love the Mass Effect logo by the way. Mass Effect 3 is going to be off the chain. Look even everyone in the cast said it was a Liberal movie that didn't do the book justice. Granted I hated the book when I was a child. I was more into Peanuts. Would I show this movie to my nephew, no because there are better movies, that care about the environment. Hell make your kids watch Captain Planet, but not this garbage. You know what man "Good Grief" sir.
Comment by The Dork Knight on March 5, 2012 at 10:22am Dr. Seuss' The Road!!! lol that would be awesome.
