The Loading Bar BS and Email Show - January 26, 2012
First of all, let us welcome you to a new episode of The Loading Bar BS and Email Show. This week we read emails about The Social Network movie of video games, franchise crossovers, scary games, good smart phone games, our next multiplayer event, kindness from a gamer dad, revisiting old games, and the fancy re-education of Nicholas Hodges.

Now onto the big announcement. For those who keep up with The Loading Shows, you might remember a little something about doing a Loading Bar video game. Well we didn't forget. We still want you to make that game. That's right, YOU. What? You didn't think we were going to make it, did you? We're too busy doing... stuff.
And what's in it for you? We do have Spill Dot Con coming up, and on our day of live podcasting we want your game to be the highlight of The Loading Bar live show. Of course we want the geniuses who created the game to be there so we'll also be giving away two tickets so they can attend the event. Here's the guidlines:
- All games will be shown and played at the show, with a grand prize winner being chosen by The Loading Bar crew
- The game must feature all of the Spill Crew
- Games don't have to be complete. We're judging by presentation
- It can be any format - 2d flash, 3d, platformer, fighter - as long as it's playable
- We're looking for good design, fun playability, cleverness on how you use the characters and themes from the show
- When you're done let us know at spil@videogamenews.com
There's still plenty of time to get started so get too it. We can't wait to see how we fit into your world!

You guys should REALLY...REALLY do Red Dead Redemption or GTA IV...
hear me out...now I KNOW they have been out for a while, but it would be the PERFECT place for a Multiplayer Event because why/??? Because of FREE ROAM!!!
Just think, either RDR we could actually invite eachother to posse's and go beat up the town folk or sheriffs (or posses vs posses)
OOOOOOOR...GTA IV where we could show eachother around Liberty City (I know A LOT of cool open buildings, skate parks, and that playground glitch would make EVERYBODY laugh and its so easy for anyone to do).
Also I just think it would be really cool forming a 16-PLAYER gang in either game...we could either get a few cars that fill it up with Spillios (or a bus...or helicopter...or motorcycle...or boat...or ANYTHING).
OR, we fill up a stage coach, and the rest of us travel on horses and take over gang hideouts.
On top of all those really fun options we would have...A LOT of people already have either one of those games, so why not? I mean sure theres new games coming out and could do events for those too...but why not GTA or RDR?
As fun as it would be to do that with fighting games and all that, they can only hold a minimal amount of people...while both GTA and RDR can hold up to 16-players...much easier to filter players so everyone can have a chance...AND it wont get boring fast.
I remember doing COD:Black Ops and asking Korey about RDR and he said he would like to...and he was probably being honest because, atleast with me...Black Ops was waaaaay too intense sometimes lol. I mean you spawn, take a few steps and get killed, and repeat until the round is done. Sure you kill people too but when you havent played for months (like me), all I did was get a few kills here and there, and you never really get to communicate, just spawn, shoot, die and round over. So a lot of us didn't get to talk much unless it was the intermission / voting screen.
So yea, any Multiplayer Event I'd be totally down for and look forward to, but I still think RDR and GTA would definitely be the best choices. Just think...FREE ROAM, full of Spillios.
*Plus the host can turn friendly fire and cops off/on.

WOW...even Capcom admitted that the "6" logo looks like a giraffe. I wish I never checked out the logo after you guys said that lol. Something DID look sketchy about it haha.
Maybe its symbolic, instead of a giraffe eating a woman's brains...the woman is giving brains willingly ;) I hate horny zombie giraffes!!!

I originally heard somebody say that the logo looked like a giraffe, then I looked at it and went "oh wow you're right" then when Professor Jeff added that other part to it I went "oh what, no way, it's just a giraffe looking backwards and... oh god damn it."
