Not true, hollywood has actually gotten a game designer/writer to write flicks before.
A Mr. Gary Whitta whom recently wrote Book of Eli and is working on Undying, Akira, and some other film with M Night Boomshakalaka or whatever his stupid name is.
@John Henry Eden v2.0
Well said, on top of that great sense of adventure you also got some of the best written characters in video games today.
From the way he describes it I think Korey might have just watched a tech demo from GTA IV. I remember seeing one trailer that showed off Liberty City pretty extensively.
Alright mate, if you would've just said that to me from the very begginning rather than calling me a retard simply because you dont agree with me than we wouldn't be exchanging comments like this.
So no worries.
Uncharted and the word "crap" do not belong in the same goddamn paragraph, let alone the same sentence. It's easily one of the best franchises in the past ten years, and Drake's Deception promises to be even better. I'm not being sarcastic when I put them on par with the Indiana Jones films (sans the last one, of course).
Ask yourself this question - do you remember the finer details of the stories in Raiders of the Lost Ark or Temple of Doom or Last Crusade? Probably not off the top of your head. What you do probably remember is the brilliant sense of adventure that was captured in every single frame. Uncharted does the same thing perfectly in a video game format. I honestly can't say enough good things about Uncharted, I love those games so much.
