With the start of a new volume comes new changes. Changes to format, changes to host (sort of), and changes yet to come. This week we get our buddy Joe Parsons on again with us as we deconstruct and argue about The Walking Dead season 2, amongst other things.

Just to be accurate... ironically enough, Glenn missed like mad when hanging out the car window. They hit a few sure but there were still plenty of obvious missed shots. I'm just saying because I was noticed the lack of perfect hits compared to the on foot head shots being made with handguns prior to that.
Comment by Jose Antonio Rivera on March 25, 2012 at 10:56pm Man, I hope not. I want at least one scene where Daryl and Merle talk outside of a hallucination. Though, I have a feeling Merle might end up being in the prison and with The Governor.
Also, with Sarah Wayne Callies in the show, imagine if they have to stage a Prison Break and for no reason at all pan to her as she says "Not again..."
@Ben J. - Good point.
Comment by Jose Antonio Rivera on March 25, 2012 at 7:16pm I really enjoyed the guests on this one. Joe was a welcome addition as he provided such great insights. I haven't read The Walking Dead comics. But I like knowing that we get another take on it. I understand Cyrus' point about not comparing it to the book, as you have to take adaptations as separate entities. But I liked that Joe could elaborate on his points as to why he felt the way he did.
I like The Walking Dead, but I was becoming more and more frustrated with the oddness of this season. But, the good far outweighs the bad. And I'm interested to see where next season goes. Sometimes, all you need is a new location to really get things going.
I enjoy whenever there's a shitload of people on LEOG, but those short parts by Cyrus and Leon are really something truly awesome, to the point that im actually a little angry right now, cuz i grew jelous of the friendship that is between those two old pricks...just the fact that they can talk about how close they are without it coming out a little ackward...like something that would usually end up with "...no homo" is actually pretty friggin amazing.
I listen to All Spill podcasts, including every audio movie review, loading bars, ACOCO's and a LTD from time to time...but whenever its LEOG time, its like my own little christmas every week, you guys are THE best podcast here, and now when i think about it, Ive listened to shitload of other podcasts/radio shows : Stern/O&A/Joe Rogan experience/Smodcast/Bill Burrs monday morning podcast, and you guys are still better than the ones Ive listed...which is actually pretty fucking impressive.
So yeah...great job.
Comment by SpikeGhost on March 25, 2012 at 4:25pm well dadaism only lasted a few years (like, less than five i think but i could be wrong) so in any art history class you're gonna go through it pretty fast
Comment by Empty Brooke on March 25, 2012 at 1:44pm I actually haven't read the books so I don't know much about the way the characters die therein, but you guys going on about the impending demise of some of the cast brought me back to when I was just finishing the series. Especially when Laurie was brought up, because when it was revealed that everyone was already infected, the first thing that popped into my mind was "oh god, what if she has a miscarriage and the baby tries to eat it's way out of her?" Granted, this is a really stupid thought, but your discussion brought it back for me. And frankly, since Laurie is shaping up to be a really annoying member of the group... I'm almost for it. ...Almost. I'm sure that whatever they do will peek my interest though, since this has been one of the few shows to force my heart into my throat and change the rate of my breathing.

Comment by Blackharp on March 25, 2012 at 3:46am Super Fun show guys, hoping you guys have an intro hour or so with just Leon and Cyrus bullshitting as a regular thing. But maaaaaaaaan, listening to you guys talk about the walking dead you're really not convincing me to watch the show even when all you guys are talking about it being an interesting show to watch. I'll check it out after another season or two, I'm just not sold on the show yet though.
