Dilster3k posted a blog postThis year marked the first ever Moontower Comedy and Oddity Festival in Austin, Texas. With over 60 performers participating in the Festival over the weekend we were very lucky to get to speak to a few of them. If you listened to the LEOG episode titled 'Standing Up' you've already heard the interviews for Tom Rhodes and Brody Stevens. Click Here to go back and listen to those now if you haven't already!
DANA GOULD
From the days of The Ben Stiller Show, to being the voice and dialogue writer for the Gex series of Playstation games, to a long stint as a writer for The Simpsons, to a stand-up career, Dana Gould has been a constant voice in entertainment for 20 years. We sit down with him and ask him about his experiences, and just plain goof off together about any number of geeky things.
JACKIE KASHIAN
The host of the popular podcast "The Dork Forest", Jackie Kashian, has been appearing as a stand-up all over the country for a long time now. 25 weeks a year on the road has assured Jackie's skill in being one heck of a fun guest to talk to, and just plain an easy person to like. In 2010 her album "It's Never Going to Be Bread" was one of Amazon.com's top comedy albums of the year.
JANET VARNEY
You may know her as the voice of Korra in Nickelodeon's "The Legend of Korra" or perhaps from being the hostess on TBS's "Dinner and a Movie" or maybe even from one of any number of improv groups she runs out on the west coast. We'll now forever know her as our good friend in California. If Janet fit in any more snugly into the whole funny/truly geeky thing that defines Spill, we'd have to force her to stay and join the LEOG.

Comment by Scott_PJ on May 8, 2012 at 9:23pm This was a really nice surprised, I loved all three of them because they had such varied, amazing ideas and experiences. Reminded me of my friends and why I love podcasting.
For Janet's Podcasting idea, she should try and get Kayla from the LEOG. Who wouldn't want to interview her?!
Well I guess I have a new crush to deal with. Rifftrax AND Korra!? Get outta he'a
Comment by Eddie on May 8, 2012 at 8:40pm Wow all these guests I recognized (after a quick Google search) and they were all funny and interesting. That Dana Gould/Dave Grohl show sounds pretty cool.

I'd love that too, Tropic Wonder. In fact, she was even enthusiastic about the idea.
Comment by Tropic Wonder on May 8, 2012 at 12:51pm Slow clap for Cyrus. These interviews were great. I'd love for Janet Varney to be an occasional guest on LEOG. She would fit in perfectly.
