THE LEAGUE OF EXTREMELY ORDINARY GENTLEMEN: Volume 6, Issue 16: Time Travel

THE LEAGUE OF EXTREMELY ORDINARY GENTLEMEN: Volume 6, Issue 16: Time Travel

The guys and gals of the League get together to talk about why time travelers rule. And yes, that means the Doctor too, of course. Check it...

And here is an awesome Doctor Who inspired fan art from n8 (n8's Blog).

@Felisha

Hey, I just finished Fables myself. Pretty fantastic series, if I say so myself.

Wow, I typed that so fast without proofreading it. There are so many errors in it. Forgive my negligence.

@Cat

Wow... I completely forgot I typed. I remember it and I wanted to check to see if anyone replied. And I'm honor that Cat was of those to respond. Thanks for clearing that up. I really did for that Cyrus liking sports thing, even though I knew I heard him saying that detested sports with a passion. It just said it so nonchalantly that it convinced in some strange way. The same can be said for the Rubio liking Anime thing.

Also thanks JHE v2.0 for the Dr. Who advice. When I get the chance, I'll be starting on that. But right now, I'm trying to read through the Fable series since the LEOG has been talking so highly of it for so long. I'm on volume 3 now, and I'm in love with it.

Listening to it right now, a little behind on the shows this week. Yeah, I should have known you guys would have heard about it.

I was goofing on it, I wasn't saying it was bad. They can be and are two different things. Also, did you not hear during this very episode where we discuss the China thing? At length?
Comment by Merlin Horrorcock on May 1, 2011 at 11:55am

I recently found out that "Time Travel" movies have been banned in China...

China bans time travel on TV and at the cinema

Chinese children could be deprived of the delights of Back to the Future and the flux capacitor, after censors effectively banned time travel on TV and in the cinema.

Also, 62 minutes into the podcast you admitted that the Superman ending was absurd! Which I 100% agree.

I have to admit it's a classic, but I have no nostalgic attachments to this particular film. Cyrus, me and you are of different generations, I've got to say that I'm more of the Bruce Timm generation (Which I know without the Donner influence, probably wouldn't be the great, great, great show that it was).
Comment by Cyrus on May 1, 2011 at 11:41am
Yeah, that's not evidence at all. Sorry. The more you say, the more you're going to hurt your case.

If you want more evidence for why I don't like Superman... So I present to you, exhibit B: Otis
