If it's crap ... We'll tell you
As we inch closer to December, The Weinstein Company has released what is said to be the last trailer for Quentin Tarantino's 'Django Unchained.' And it is easily my favorite of the bunch. Not only do we get plenty of footage of the gunplay that will factor into the movie, but the music utilized is excellent. At the end of the trailer is, of course, the theme song from Sergio Corbucci's 'Django,' which is one of my favorite aspects of that spaghetti western. But also Rick Ross turns up with a song about 100 black coffins right when the trailer reaches its apex. I remember sitting at a roundtable during Comic-Con when Jamie Foxx was talking about how badass Ross' tracks for the movie were going to be. I can't say I disagree with him. Take a gander at the trailer below and let us know what you think.

Comment by Anthony Stokes on November 30, 2012 at 8:13am I was afraid because in the other trailer the james brown music kind of made it seem like a comedy and Jamiie Foxx just looks like he's waiting for a punchline he's got the Michonne face through most of it but he impressed me with this
Comment by Anthony Stokes on November 30, 2012 at 1:14am Tarantino is a genuis... with dialogue and working with actors.. His weak points are story structure and editing and pacing. He's overrated in the sense that his movies rip other movies off anybody can make a great movie if they cherry pick scenes from other great movies. Edgar Wright is better imo simply for the fact you can tell he doesn't have his head up his own sass
Comment by Anthony Stokes on November 30, 2012 at 1:09am Wait....Wait....Wait... Why the fuck is.. Ross? use some JAyz or some Nas or some Kanye Ross is too modern
Comment by Dawnell_do on November 29, 2012 at 4:37pm I i'm looking so forward to this movie!
Comment by Zgamer on November 29, 2012 at 4:18pm Now having said this....I think the other two official trailers were better. Hip hop doesn't quite mesh well with this style of Western as well as the previous tracks. Plus, it felt kind of disjointed in some of the ways the images flowed. Whatever though. I still got those other trailers to enjoy :)
Comment by Zgamer on November 29, 2012 at 4:15pm I will be that guy who says that not only do I still love Tarantino films, but I think he is still one of our greatest filmmakers working today. At the very least, he writes dialogue heavy scripts in a way that puts just about script these days to shame (if you ever just read the scripts themselves, they flow like great novels).
So needless to say, I am eagerly waiting for Django Unchained. I won't just automatically call it good out of Tarantino appreciation (every director has a weak film in their resume....like Death Proof), but I am hoping the best for it and coming in with an open mind to see if it will be good or bad.
