The JonASS Brothers

The past weekend has blessed us with the one and only JONAS BROTHERS 3-D CONCERT EXPERIENCE. For $15 you can see the Jonas Brothers perform a few songs and live their daily life. As much as I dislike these guys, I had no doubt that they'd rape the box office and come in number one this weekend. Just like their Miley Cyrus counterpart. BUT THEY DIDN'T. NUMBER 2 BITCH. Everyone's favorite purity boys were estimated to bring in $30 million from Friday-Sunday. Turns out they could only manage $12.7 million.
Am I disappointed? No! The Jonas Brothers are three uber-popular musicians that aren't really talented. They rose to fame by riding on the back of Miley Cyrus. Speaking of Miley. Not too long ago, she had her own 3-D concert movie thing. The difference between her and the Jonas Brothers is that she made $31 million her first weekend. The Jonases couldn't even rake in half of what Miss Cyrus was pulling and their movie played in TWICE the amount that Miley's played. Miley having near 700 theaters and the Jonas having near 1,300.

So why did the Jonas boys fail? Blame the economy. Blame having too much hype. Blame the fact that they don't have a television show. Or maybe it's because the boys aren't as great as they thought they were. Maybe these guys don't have what it takes to make folks want to pay $15 to watch their bullshit. It looks like Disney's poster boys are failing to meet expectations. Hopefully this will smack some reality into the Jonas Brothers, and they'll realize that they're not the biggest shits in the toilet. Then they'll start making some good music. Doubt it.
