The Great Movie Quest
Here it comes, the long hot days of summer and I have thought carefully about what I could try to accomplish in the days, weeks, and months to come. I think I have come up with an idea that will most likely take up my time for the rest of the year. However, if I complete this task, I will have expanded my knowledge of cinema and my love for the art for then I could ever imagine. Im writing this because, Dear Film Lover, I want you to join me, and together, maybe we can learn something. So I give you:
THE GREAT MOVIE QUEST
The rules are simple. I have a list of 400 films ( as complied by the fantastic movie blog theyshootpictures.com) Take the list and watch as many films as you can, in any order you wish ( I am personally going 1-400) If you have Netflix you should be able to find a great deal of these ( I have found the first 30 at least). Write up a brief viewpoint and post it on Spill. Contact me and let me know what you have watched. Roger Ebert once wrote that " We live in a box of space and time. Movies are windows in its walls. ". Lets take a look through those windows, into the cinema of the past, and marvel at the history of this great art form.

Zuby thank you, are you interested in doing this? there is no time limit, go at your own pace, I would love it if this got really big.
