I'll admit upfront that I am a huge fan of the original first 2 or 4 batman movies and really enjoying the reboot with the more realistic take on the Batman universe.  So my findings are probably closer to the co-host.  However, I would never force my opinion onto others and I agree that everyone rated this movie very high.

I think it is a shame that we will not see more.  The end of the movie made me want more.  I did not feel this was a long movie and  I would have sat through 4 hours for a little more detail.

Just saw this today and I am in Co-host camp on this one. This was a really good film. I teared up every time Alfred was on screen. Cat Woman was awesome. Gordon-Levitt was great, I would love to see him take over as Nightwing. The only thing that actually stood out for me is when I first heard Bane talk, he sounded like someone doing a bad Sean Connery impersonation, but I got over it.  As far as Kyle and Wane ending up together it wasn't that big of a deal. I don't mind happy endings. If I were in his shoes, every time we were in bed I would have to bring up, "Remember the time you set me up and Bane nearly killed me? Yeah, Baby tonight we're gong to do that thing you really don't like. You kinda owe me one."

I don't usually comment on these things but this is the best and funniest review of The Dark Knight Rises.  I agree with everything Korey, Leon and Cyrus had to say about this movie.  Don't worry Co Host. I'm already crucifying myself after I write this.

Finally saw it today and loved it. I'm not sure it's as good as TDK. However, it’s close and that's a statement to the quality of the film. It’s interesting how important Batman Begins is to the story. I found that important because Begins is a great movie, but it’s stuck in the shadow of TDK. That’s why I thought Dark Knight Rises would play more as a sequel to TDK than the third movie in a trilogy. Dark Knight Trilogy is right up there with Lord of the Rings, in my opinion. Great send off.
