While the illegal bootleg version of this has been out all week, we finally have the official release of the teaser trailer for Warner Bros. 'The Dark Knight Rises'. Directed by Christopher Nolan and once again starring Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, the final installment of Nolan's bat-franchise introduces Tom Hardy as Bane and Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman. In the teaser, we get the sense that due to repercussions from the previous film, Batman has been forced into hiding and must again return to battle a new adversary and stop a new threat to Gotham City:
'The Dark Knight Rises' arrives in theaters on July 20th, 2012.

More audio of the chant in the trailers. A little louder.

I don't know...that seems to obvious. I mean, the sniper is standing in Bane's field of view.
Although I DEFINITELY think you're right about them singing "matala" in the chant. Very spooky.
Either way, I'm insanely excited for this movie.

Oh, good catch! Did not see the possible sniper, which would explain why Batman is trying to take Bane on on Bane's terms. Or it could have been and ultimatum snippit where Bats couldn't beat Bane before and Bane will not stop tearing down Gotham until he gets a fight that satisfies him. I'd still love to see the whole jail break fight with Bane in the cave though...course that'd mean a broken bat.

Yea, I am one of those guys who has fun with trying to guess a movie as a means of filling the time till it arrives in theaters. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't do this for every movie but the ones I am super excited for. I wouldn't be upset or feel cheated if Nolan didn't go according to plan.
We've all been craving for the next film minutes after the Dark Knight, we finally have something visually to be excited about.
