"The Dark Knight Rises" Blu-ray Preview
So what do you guys think?
Despite my feelings about the movie (really good, but not nearly as good as I would have expected) there's no question that this is gonna be one of the biggest Christmas buys this year. I'm looking forward to seeing it again, and I'll probably end up watching every single one of the bonus features, like I have for both of the others. I'm sure this won't be the last version that comes out, and plans almost HAVE to be already formulating for a 'All Three Movies Ultima-plotz-in-your-fanboy-shorts Edition' but who's gonna want to wait to own the last chapter in the Nolan Batverse (Is anyone else saying Batverse? Just me? Crap).

I hope that I get it for Christmas because I don't want to spend my money on it while having to wait for the collector's edition that comes out sometime next year. Still can't wait but ready for a new take on THE BAT

For some reason when I heard about the Bat mobile feature, I thought they were talking about all the different versions of the Tumbler and I was thinking "what's the point?" Can't wait to get this on Blu-ray!!!

My thoughts? This will undoubtedly be a massive seller, and will probably be even more enjoyable to watch at home than it was in the theatre. But... will it be this year's best Blu Ray? .... I don't think so.
Pre-orders are already being taken for the Bat-trilogy boxsets on the likes of Amazon and HMV, but they will most likely be re-packaged versions of the already released films. A "Collecters Edition" could be some way off. But still, I wouldn't raise my nose at anyone who gets it for Christmas :)

Still waiting for the Ultimate Collection set of all three movies next year. Haven’t bought the movies on Blu-Ray yet because I KNOW this was going happen eventually. Let’s hope the set itself has exclusive features and A-Solid packaging.

Apparently "The Ultimate Dark Knight Trilogy Box Set" isn't scheduled for release until the 3rd quarter of 2013. For now, it will just be an ordinary box set in December.
