I've just gotten a DVD, and I felt the strong urge to review it. Lo and behold the awesomeness of my new DVD,
The Dark Knight Collector's Edition! The ultimate version of this to get for a Dark Knight fan since the Special Edition ain't all that special, and by far the best way to spend your money. I, for instance, got this at Walmart for $21 bucks. That, my friends, is a bargain. And with the economy the way it is right now, you gotta be smart with your money.
Why is this so great?
Good Question. And it is answered by looking at this image:

Look, if you're not as big of a Batman geek as me, you may not get this. Hell, I'm do geeky I even went to my Homecoming as the Joker! But for those who like the sound of this, let me give you a bit more information on everything in this here box if the picture alone is not good enough for you:
The DVD
This is the 1-Disc version that many have said you might as well get if you're going to buy this movie(which nearly all of us undoubtedly are). The menus are not that flashy, just the usual montage of videos among the text with three options: Play Movie, Scene Selection, and Languages. Pretty basic. But, the quality of the DVD makes me wonder why the hell somebody would want to pay extra for a blue-ray disc. It's truly amazing on my television screen. And this also comes with a code inside the case where you can download the movie onto your computer so you can watch it at any time without the DVD. And if any of you take advantage of this to pirate this movie, quoting the immortal words of Jason of the League of Extremely Ordinary Gentleman, "I will fight you!".

The Comic Book
This box set also comes with a pretty neat comic book, but it's nothing special. It includes a copy of Issue #1 of Batman and Issue #66 of Detective Comics in a little pamphlet, and it's all work by Bob Kane. So if you're big fan of him you may dig this. The first half features Batman's origin and the very first introduction of the Joker, the second half features the birth of Two-Face. I learned that his original name was not
Harvey Dent, but rather
Harvey Kent. His name may have been changed to avoid confusing him with Clark Kent, who knows. Maybe Silver Surfer can offer an answer.

The Replica of Harvey Dent/Two-Face's Signature Silver Dollar
Honestly, this is what made me REALLY excited about this box set. It's a very cool replica of the Silver Dollar used in the movie. And it's not some crappy replica either, it's definitely made of metal. Probably not silver, but the fact that it's metallic is good enough for me. God, I'm such a geek.

Conclusion
This is a must have for anybody who wanted to get something special concerning the Dark Knight, but didn't want to buy a disappointing Special Edition DVD. The collectible box and coin made me extremely happy, and I know it'll make others happy as well. In other words:
BUY THIS NOW.
You'll regret it if you don't.
RATING:
JOKERRIFIC!

So far, I haven't found it on Amazon, so
Walmart seems like the place to get it.
