Just saw Will Ferrell doing the same crap he always does. What can I say? I'm a sucker for low-brow comedy, even if it happens to be Will Ferrell's table scraps.

Believe it or not, the first forty five of this movie satisfied me, because Zach Gala--- "The guy from the Hangover" and Will Ferrell do an excellent job in satirizing rival political figures. After that, the movie revisited a lot the same stuff it did in the first 1/2, and the movie got stale really fast. It was directed by the same dude who directed Austin Powers, and while the movie was funny it didn't seem to be quite as precise as the comedy blockbuster franchise. This movie was surprisingly sexual, which was funny in the beginning 1/2 of the movie, but then the same jokes didn't work in the latter half of the movie (even if it was like 1 and a half hours). I kept saying to myself: this is going to be a visionary film because in 10 years debates will just turn into no-holds-barred cagematches. I could see it now- Obama grabbing a steel chair and wacking Romney upside the head, blood splattering everywhere. CAN YOU SMELL WHAT BARACK IS COOKING? *cue theme music* and I digress...

The movie got tired, and frankly, I got tired of its repitition, so for that I'd have to give it 2.5 or 3 stars. Don't get me wrong though, seeing Zach and Will spewing insults at each other did have me laughing a lot. It would definitely be a great movie to see with your buddy on a weekday.
