Paramount Pictures has released the first teaser trailer for Steven Spielberg's adaptation of 'The Adventures of Tintin', along with both the international and U.S. posters (below). Based on the internationally acclaimed series by Hergé, 'Tintin' is a voracious young reporter (voiced by Jamie Bell) who will stop at nothing to get a good story (which more often than not sets him along his way towards a grand adventure).
'The Adventures of Tintin' cast reads like a film geek's wet dream: Directed by Steven Spielberg, produced by Peter Jackson, written by the team of Steven Moffat ('Doctor Who', 'Jekyll'), Edgar Wright ('Shaun of the Dead', 'Hot Fuzz'), and Joe Cornish ('Attack the Block'), visual effects by Weta Digital, and starring the vocal talents of Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Andy Serkis, and Daniel Craig. If that alone isn't enough to get you to the theater... well, we really can't help you.

Comment by Talvi on May 20, 2011 at 2:47am I love the fact that they went for the CG style. Now they characters keep their recognisable characteristics and sometimes goofy manners and features.
This series is simply amazing, used to watch and read it alot.
Like the majority here I cannot wait for this film.
