Full Price! One of the year's best. Cyrus is right on

I'm surprised by how much I enjoyed this film. Low full price/high matinee from me.

I do not think Cory even entered this film with an open mind. I agree with Cyrus. A lot of chemistry between Damon and Blunt. Perhaps I am privy to the personality trait of Emily Blunt's character as warm, sexy, and quirky in a good way. Constantly comparing it to Dark City is a mistake as every film has to kind of stand on its own. I give it "Matinee".

PHZ-Sic You hit it right on the head. I loved seeing Mackie in another role, The chemistry between the characters worked for me and The Richardson and Thompson characters kept me watching. I am not a big Romantic guy so like Sunshine of the Spotless mind before it, this is one of the few films that circled around a love story that I dug. What a great cast...

sounds like Korey didn't really give it a chance before the movie even started.

"MINORITY REPORT may have been one of the stupidest, most pointless screenplays ever written...all this Dickian faux-existential claptrap is wearing me out"

Thank you. Christ, I loathe that movie. Although I'm not quite sick of the Philip K. Dick material just yet. We simply need competent directors to do his stories justice.

I'm with Cyrus on this one viz The Goofball Chemistry; I thought Damon and Blunt had a charming spark between them and I had no trouble believing this was a woman for whom David Norris would sacrifice everything. What annoyed me was the one Glaring Plot Hole (others may have mentioned in the comments, I haven't read them all) which is Why Didn't Elise Find David? I have trouble swallowing the whole Crazy For You premise -- that both of them are equally nutty for one another to the point of having their brains scrambled -- if Elise isn't as invested as David is in re-connecting, and while SHE may have been one woman in a city of 6 million, HE was just a phone call away. She knows everything about him, he's an ex-Congressman recognized on every street corner; why didn't she just Google his ass and call him in that 3 year span?

I'm ready to call a moratorium on Philip K Dick books and stories at this point, though, aren't y'all? MINORITY REPORT may have been one of the stupidest, most pointless screenplays ever written and Hollywood doesn't seem up to the challenge of really thinking Dick's work through on the page. INCEPTION played like the greatest Dick Story (haha, "dick") ever written, but it took a genius like Nolan to write that fucker and see it produced; all this Dickian faux-existential claptrap is wearing me out now, though.

Still, I'd watch Matt Damon read Proust for 2 hours. Love him, and enjoyed this film.

I loved this film.  Corey.. you are a smart man and a great animator but what the cuss?? Damon and Blunt had chemistry as soon as they met in this movie. Full Price!  Thanks for agreeing Cyrus and thanks to all you guys for another great review.

I am glad it was not a rip off of Dark City, which I suspected.  Might Netflix later.  Thanks for the review!
