Synopsis for 'Monsters University' Revealed

Disney/Pixar has released the official synopsis and logo for the animated film 'Monsters University' . A prequel to the hit film 'Monsters, Inc.', the movie will again feature Billy Crystal and John Goodman in the lead roles of Mike and Sulley, this time during their college days:
“Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. Monsters University unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.”
Not exactly the most inspiring of premises, but then again "toys being taken to a day care center" doesn't sound very interesting either (and we all know how that turned out). It has also been confirmed that the film will follow the recent trend and be created specifically for 3D. Twelve years after the original Academy Award nominated film debuted in theaters, 'Monsters University' will be released June 21st, 2013.

I love Monsters Inc., but I feel like we are not getting the full synopsis. Mike meets Sullivan; I'm pretty sure there is gonna be an explosion and a chase scene in this film.

oh, yay! I just watched Monsters Inc again last night. I really do like that movie, but it could be that I also make monsters and so I love it a little more.
