FBI agents (Bruce Willis and Radha Mitchell) investigate the mysterious murder of a college student linked to the man who helped create a high-tech surrogate phenomenon that allows people to purchase unflawed robotic versions of themselves—fit, good looking remotely controlled machines that ultimately assume their life roles—enabling people to experience life vicariously from the comfort and safety of their own homes. The murder spawns a quest for answers: in a world of masks, who's real and who can you trust?

Surrogates is based on a graphic novel written by Robert Venditti. Now I never read the book, witch I heard was good. I wanted to see this movie when I first saw a trailer for it. So I went and seen it, and its actually an okay movie. like I said never read the book, but from what am hearing the movie is accurate with the book. I liked the plot. It was very different from your typical sifi-thrillers. Towards the end of the movie they throw a couple of twists at you, that honestly were not down very well at all in my opinion. it maid no sense at all too. i mean 30 minutes after i saw the movie i was still thinking about what it meant.

Most of the actors in the movie were really stiff, with like no emotions in there face. I will let it slid because they do have to play robots. Once again Bruce Willis plays a one-cop-against-the-system role. But that’s the reason why we all love Bruce Willis. A great action actor. But honestly Bruce Willis was the only actor I liked in the movie.

There are a couple of things I liked about surrogates. Like for example the action was pretty cool. It wasn’t to corny, but kept me thrilled. The plot was good, and interesting. Also I liked the 3rd act a lot. The 1st act was good, the 2nd act was okay, but the 3rd act was the best. I liked the ending as well. I thought it closed out really well. And of course Bruce Willis was good.

The flaws to the movie were, some of the special effects were really bad, the twists towards the end was done bad, and the movie was slightly boring at times.

Overall surrogates was not a bad movie, but its defently not the best movie of the year by far. I am glad I saw this movie in theaters. It wasn’t dissopoining at all.
