Summer is coming fast so i thought i might list down a few films coming out this summer. Quite a good selection for every genre filled with sequels upon sequels and comic book adaptations and only one big orginal movie.
but who will make the most money this summer?
The Number 1 Movie to rule the Box office is :

1) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two
The Last of a fantastic franchise, the Final Battle, and released in 3D. Harry Potter has always been able to gross a far bit of money in every film released .Did you know the highest grossing Harry Potter movie in over 10 years is still the First one (The Philosopher's Stone released in 2001)
It will make most of its money worldwide but I really hope it makes some more domestically NO Harry Potter movie has made more than 320 thousand dollars domestic box office and i have no doubt it will make "Lord of the Rings" Money......... So Long Harry........

2) Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
Another sequel from a very high grossing franchise. Dead Man's Chest is the Franchise's most successful film grossing 1 Million Worldwide and At World's End making 960 thousand Dollars worldwide so expect it to make a far bit of cash come this summer from 3D and IMAX 3D takings
3) Transformers: Dark of the Moon
Despite its Abysmal reviews, it didn't hurt the box-office of Revenge of the Fallen - opening at 108 thousand - became second highest domestic grossing film (behind Avatar) - and Made a solid 836 Thousand which is double the original ( Not to mention that it wasn't in 3D). With 3D and IMAX 3D, so don't be shocked to see Transformers up there making money.

4) Cars 2
Despite me not liking Cars and thinking its WAY to long - Fucking almost 2 hours of Cars running around in the desert - its insane. it has a far good chance to make tons of money due to its appeal to kids, the success of IMAX 3D screens from Toy Story 3 last year and also everyone wanting to see the new TOY STORY animated Short ( which is only bout 6 minutes). I don't want it to make lots of money because its a pretty concept about a world where everyone is cars and other auto mobiles but you can't stop the power of Pixar and Jon Lasserter.

5) Kung Fu Panda 2
more 3D and IMAX releases and its the sequel to Kung Fu Panda which was a commercial and financially successful animated movie and one of Dreamworks best films to date but can it shake of the Sequel Bug.
(Shrek 2 was great as the first but 3 and 4 was forgettable sequels and Madagascar 2 was nothing special)
the trailer was off-putting from its weird humour and Po's childish behaviour (again) but with its Stellar Cast and new characters appearing. i'm sure Kung Fu Panda 2 may surprise me IF it delivers a solid sequel

6) Super 8
the mystery behind this movie as been the talk of many movie addicts for months know with still no major look at the plot and the characters involved but surely to forgot to mention how Inception was like. that was a mystery itself and made a solid amount of money for an original concept which surprised me to be honest.based on the Power to Steven Spielberg and fans of JJ Abrams and his movie "Clover Field", with its less the mega Budget of 50 million, it will totally make its money back of course but I hope to see this Sci-Fi Sequel makes solid money in the Box-office domestically and worldwide. (Inception money)

7) The Hangover 2
for the Americans viewers, the boys are back and I expect some money made from this sequel and to double that of the original. the original was a fan favourite for most of its box office but not really a popular movie outside of the USA. Expectation is tense since the director's recent release of Due Date was not a great movie but if the Hangover 2 follows on the success of the first film then many people on Spill will be rejoicing on the site.

8) Thor
Thor is the most likely contender to fill seats more than the other comic book adaptations, great trailer, great cast and sublime special effects and in 3D.

9) X-men - First Class
prequel to the X-men series featuring New characters could hurt its takes or be an advantage. I don't know how to predict this movie but i'm sure it will do well, far better than the films below. I'm rooting from Nicholas Hoult ( Skins, About a Boy)

10) Captain America / 11) Green Lantern
two 3D released that I won't think will make lots of money, these heroes aren't know around the world like batman or superman. Ryan Reynolds is more favourable as an well known actor to fill seats but Green Lantern to me looks grim compared to Captain America and its positive reviews. what do you guys think?
12) Cowboys and Aliens

Runt of the litter when it comes to Box office takings am afraid but if persuaded by its Hollywood ensemble cast e.g James Bond and Indiana Jones, it could make a surprise bit of money come release
