'Step Up Revolution' Trailer
Oh. Hell. Yes. I may lose a great deal of face with you guys, and I'm sorry, but I love the 'Step Up' movies. Forget the utter absurdity of their plots and the often flat, dull acting, these movies are all about spectacle and the dance numbers only get more and more over-the-top elaborate as the series progresses. They are a call back to the days of 'Breakin 2' when it didn't matter what the characters were saying, as long as we got to see Ozone and Turbo work their magic and save the rec center. That formula has not changed one iota except that the 'Step Up' movies have beautifully incorporated 3D into the jaw-dropping splendor of the dance sequences. The new film, 'Step Up Revolution,' continues this tradition as you can see in this recently released trailer. I am so pumped for this it's embarrassing. yeah I'm pretty sure I remember hearing on one of the podcast that Brian was writing 90% of these now...thankfully cause now im not the only person on spill who can say that love step up with no shame.

@Mister Tibbs. I think Christian is refering to the unknowns and the major audience. And how not many caucasions would not watch a movie that is prodomably black or even has a black lead which a movie about this kind of dancing would most likely be filled with because it does not interest them. But as long as it is a white lead, everybody will go watch it. I'm white and I can admit it's kind of sickening.

I love dance...The plot always sucks but some of the sweetest dance moves do come from So you think you can dance, Americas Best Dance Crew (which is made up mostly from people on So you think you can Dance tryouts), LXD (which is made up mostly from people on So you think you can Dance tryouts) and STEP UP (Which is made up mostly from LXD which is made up mostly from people on So you think you can Dance tryouts) Catch the hint.
