Rating-Some Ole' Bullsh*t!!   Star Wars the Clone Wars Republic Heroes sucks my balls. Very rarely have I seen such poor design in a video game, let alone a Star Wars video game. While the animated movie was horrible, I’ve been really enjoying the animated series, so I figured that they would put at least some effort into this game. God was I wrong.   The story of Star Wars the Clone Wars Republic Heroes takes place between season 1 and season 2 of the animated series, you take control of Jedi and clones and you try to stop the Confederacy of Independent Systems from unleashing a Weapon of Mass Destruction.  There are two positives about Republic Heroes: The clone levels sometimes provide a HINT of to some fun, you know, when the lock-on system isn’t fighting you. And the story is actually pretty interesting to a huge Star Wars fan like me. But the games’ negatives far outweigh the positives! The controls are truly awful. I’m not sure as to which sections contain the worse controls: The Jedi sections or the clone sections, but if I had to chose I’d say the Jedi sections. Cause they contain these AWFUL platforming sections that require perfect accuracy when you can’t control the fucking camera! At least with the clone sections you can just shoot randomly and you’’ likely succeed, but with the Jedi you can’t do that. These sections, make you want to throw your fucking controller out the window!

 Hell, even when you play as a Jedi and jump on a droid to control them, it is almost impossible to aim right and you likely end up shooting in a fucking circle before you hit anything. And when you don't do it in time and the droid dies, it respawns AGAIN and you have to do the whole thing over! It becomes such a pain in the ass.

  The co-op doesn't fare much better either. It is extremely difficult to tell who's who in the heat of battle due to the screen being fixed in the most awkward position possible. If you were allowed to control the fucking camera, maybe I wouldn't have so many annoyances with this game.   Star Wars The Clone Wars Republic Heroes, if you haven't figured out already, sucks. The graphics look okay and the clone levels do sometimes give a few seconds of fun, but the game's control and camera issues hinder the game to a point where it almost becomes unplayable. I would say rent it if you have kids, but kids are likely to get just as fustrated at this game as everyone else.
