Star Trek Review

What you've heard about this movie, is all true. This is probably going to end up in everyone's top 10 for 2009... And maybe I'll take it a bit further than that and say on most everyone's top 5. Everything about this movie is done right. All the characters are used just the right amount (No character underused), the acting is supererb, and the story is told in a way that'll keep you at the edge of your seat for the entire film. Honestly, I can't find a true complaint about anything in this film. If I had to pick anything, it'd be the "coincedence" of Kirk and Spock just happening to be a few miles away from Scottie. If you're looking to have an awesome time at the movies, chances are high that you won't notice it at all unless you're super specific about details. It's a rollercoaster ride from beginning to end, you'll actually give a sh*t about everyone on the Enterprise, and it's one of those movies you'll just want to keep coming back to for years to come. It sets a mark in the film timeline on how a prequel really should be made for quite a remarkable franchise.
