The game's fun but really hard. You have to get the hang of it, but when you do, it's pretty exhilarating

SSX3 came out after Tricky and Tricky was kinda weak, because of its wonky art direction and colour schemes.  But SSX3 is the greatest SSX game, so far.  I'd only played SSX 2012 for only a couple of hours and it's great so far, but it's much [physically] tougher than the previous PS2 games.

SSX3 also was the first SSX game to incorporate one a giant mountain that you get to board down, instead of strange venues like boarding through cities.

I really like this game but it caters to a very specific section of gamers. The ridernet challenges and competition are what gives this game legs and if clawing your way up the leaderborads doesn't sound fun then you might want to avoid this game.

i loved SSX tricky on ps2 I'm going to have to pick this one up... after i finish mass effect 3 of course.
