'Spring Breakers' Red-Band Trailer
I had heard people talking about 'Spring Breakers,' but I wasn't quite able to wrap my mind around the appeal. A group of girls, played by actresses best known for kids TV and family films, goes crazy on spring break and commits a series of crimes along with a greasy, shady thug played by James Franco. People were really getting excited about this? However, after watching the red-band trailer, I'm kind of interested. It's as if Oliver Stone directed a vulgar, sexed-up, violent satire of the 'Girls Gone Wild' videos. Franco's cornrows had me in stitches. Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think.

This movie was filmed in part at my college in Florida called Ringling College of Art and Design. Its relatively unknown of unless you're in the arts community, many of us have gone off to work at Pixar, Dreamworks, ILM, etc. Name a movie or video game, theres a good chance someone from Ringling worked on it. It is a travesty to us that our school allowed such garbage to be filmed on our campus.

This movie has seemed to be an excuse to get as many half naked shots of the girls as possible for the past year or whatever. I'm guessing it will disappear as soon as it hits screens.
