Spill Party Blog Part 2

Hey Friends,

So the official party is over... But the BBQ is just beginning!!! Well not quite yet. Yesterday was incredible. The whole day I was sadly running off of 2 hours of sleep, but that didn't stop me from really partying heavily later that night. So to start with we had the LET'S DO THIS LIVE at the Alamo Ritz. We didn't quite pack the theater, but it was a LOT of fun. The crew broke down the history of Spill and we met some of the very cool people behind the whole thing. Then we saw some unbelievably cheezy clips from the crews original cable access show "The Reel Deal" which was really hard to watch at times. We did see a clone of Korey that was super gay and quite hilarious. The Spillios got to ask some great questions about the history of the crew or about movies, whatever was on their mind. It would have been nice to have more Q&A time, but we got kicked out so they could show Inglourious Basterds.

I drove with Cyrus to Austin Books for the live LEOG. While it wasn't as packed as Let's Do This it was still really full. By the time the actual podcast started, there was only standing room left. The guys did a Hollywood Squares type of game show but with teams competing for some prizes. They included DVDs full of MP3s of all the podcasts, signed photos and posters and gift certificates. The game was fun, but the chairs were unbearably uncomfortable. When it was over we all hung out and bought comics, or browsed. Leon was a colorist for comics back in the day gave away and signed some of his art work. He was sweet enough to give me a copy of a book I found in there called Grimjack. It's probably the thing he's most known for working on and it's a beautiful issue... number 81. He signed it to me and I thanked him. OH and did I mention Allison was there dressed as Dr Ex-Girlfriend. OH MY GOD HOTNESS

I went back to my friend Doug's place to change and get ready for the SPILL.COM PARTY AUSTIN 2009 EXTRAVAGANZA BITCHES!!!!

IT WAS A BLAST! The entire crew was there, we all had a great time. Drinks were free from 7 to 8 and oh boy did I have my fill. It was crazy. People started pouring in and it was a good time. By midnight, which is when I left, everyone was pretty wasted with exceptions for the 20 and under crowd. Leog member Fish was there and that dude is hilarious. I kept stealing Grant's fez, and rocking it around the party. Fez's are cool... PERIOD!

I spoke with Beau quite a bit as well as Carlyle and Leon. I didn't see as much of Cyrus as I'd like to have, but I met his chick and she was a complete sweet heart. He's a very lucky guy. Anyway all around it was a great night with a lot of GREAT conversations and good times. Around midnight a lot of people left for the strip club and while i would have liked to join them, I was a little out of my league at that

point. I was drunk and running on 2 hours of sleep. It would have been a bad judgement call. But I don"t regret it
