SPILL DOT CON - IT'S RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!
*UPDATE - Looks like we've had a change of venue for our Sunday night party. Our last evening of festivities will now be held at ICENHAUER, one of our very favorite spots here in Austin. Hopefully this will add even more variety to an already packed weekend at Spill Dot Con. See you all very soon.

We finally have our schedule set for the big Spill Dot Con weekend. So instead of waiting for the official Spill Dot Con site to be updated, I thought I'd come on and personally share the news with you myself. Our three nights of big parties are going to be a mixture of live music featuring rock, hip hop, DJs, along with areas that will reward those who bought tickets early. Throw in our film festival, live podcasts, interactive art show, and events that Spill members planned themselves and we can safely say there's something for everyone!
THE PARTIES:
FRIDAY, JUNE 24 is going to be our opening party at THE SCOOT INN. Mingle with new and old friends in the inside our outside area. VIP access granted to those who buy early. The evening will feature a live DJ set hosted by THE TEXAS BATTLE LEAGUE. At midnight MCs take the stage for a live battle of words. Amazing to watch these performers think on their feet as they try to outdo each other in a fury of freestyle rhymes. Fast forward to 1:09 in the video below to see these boys in action.

TIME: Friday June 24th, 8 PM

SATURDAY, JUNE 25th you take the stage as KARAOKE APOCALYPSE bring a night of rock and metal to CLUB DEVILLE. Wait, what? You heard right. You're the star that evening as the band plays the song of your choice and you perform in front of a live audience. Just how much of a rock star can you be? They sure made this chick look good in the video below. VIP access granted to those who buy early.

SUNDAY, JUNE 26th will be the official closing party for the event. The very cool Icenhauer will be the host for our INTERACTIVE ART SHOW. You were a rock star the night before, now show everyone your artistic side. We provide the art supplies and you create something cool on canvas. as bear people bear witness to your genius. DJs lay down the mood for this creative vibe as folks dance away their final night together.

TIME: Sunday June 26, 12 PM
Admission included with 3 Day Pass, $5 at the door
THE SPILL FILM FESTIVAL:
Before our big party on Saturday night we'll being showing films submitted by our very own Spill members at the Alamo Drafthouse Ritz, and this year the winner wil be decided by you. Subitting a film? Same rules as last year. Make a short film 5 minutes or less in length. It can be any format - live action, animation, sock puppets, or whatever else you wild little imagination can inspire. We just ask that it feature one or all of the Spill crew.
PLACE: Alamo Drafthouse Ritz
TIME: Saturday June 25, 12 PM
