Spill Dot Con 2012 - Third Annual Film Fest
It's not too late to get that film done for the Spill Dot Con Film Festival! And for those who have your films ready and have been wondering how to get them submitted we finally have that info for you. It's looking to be another great event!
Since it's inception, the Film Fest has brought us more "WTF?" moments than anything else at the Con, and this year we expect no different. You know the rules - make a five minute or less short involving at least one of The Spill Crew (including the anyone in LDT, LEOG, and The Loading Bar). Use any format - live action, animation, sock puppets, etc. Films will be judged by the audience.
We're taking the "best of de best" entries (or only entries depending on how many we get) and showing them in front of our live Spill Dot Con audience at the Marchesa Theater on Saturday, June 16th from 2 - 5pm. After the screenings one lucky winner will be chosen by our panel of judges (the Spillio audience) and that person will receive the illustrious Grand Prize. Thinking about going for that prize? Well, let's get the rules out of the way first:
RULES:
- Make it about The Spill Crew. It can be just one of us or all of us. And it can be any format. Live action, animation, use your pets, use action figures, or use sock puppets. Just make sure we're featured in there somewhere.
- Make it five minutes or less. If it goes over five minutes for any reason... YOU LOSE!
- Make sure the format is .mov, h.264, .mp4, or .avi.
- Make sure your film is in by June 13th. If it gets to us later we can't do anything for you.
HOW TO ENTER:
There are many ways to upload your files to the internet but to make things easier, please use one of these three sites to upload your video file:

Then, simply send us the download link at spilldotcom@gmail.com on or before June 13th to be considered for the festival. That's it! Hope to see you and your films there!
