Spill Dot Con 2012 Date Change: Make Your Voice Heard!
Looks like we have a small scheduling conflict with one of our venues for Spill Dot Con 2012. The festival is months away so we're hoping there's still time to move our starting date of June 15 to June 8. However, we know of at least two early ticket buyers who have booked travel to Austin.
The last thing we want to do is inconvenience any of our members, especially if it will cost you more money. So make your voices heard and let us know if a date change is possible or not. We'll work with the situation based on your feedback, at which point early ticket sales will resume. Thanks!

Hilton Garden's has no rooms at the new date either. The Super 8 near Nomad has much lower rates, but the the one near downtown isn't showing me the rates, the website seems to be glitching.

It doesn't affect me since I wouldn't be able to make it to either weekend. I wish it was later in June like last year, but thats just the way it goes.

That's cool with me, I turn 19 soon and my gift is a flight and hotel for spill dot con. Cheap, near by hotel is a problem. Advice?

I'm having trouble booking a hotel on the original date. I don't know if UT is graduating that week or what, but Hilton Garden has no rooms, and both of the Super 8's rates are sky-high compared to previous years. I'll check and see if the 8th works any better and get back to you.

Oh shit...that is a bit of a pickle. Either dates work for me, but hopefully not too many ppl bought their tickets 'this' early in the year. I know you guys will work to figure something out :-)
