hmm, the mic sounds fine on my end. Is the sound quality scratchy? I also have a pode mic but am currently using a Rode mic for my DSLR. I might just have to switch to my digital recorder and synch the sound. But thanks for not telling me to make you a sandwich. I am making strides already.

OK first of all this is a topic worth discussing and I applaud you for doing so and to get my one criticism out the way, you need to buy a better set of microphones. 

My opinion (I'm a dude) is we still have a long way to go, just because there's a black president that doesn't mean racism in America is dead, similarly just because women and women's rights have come a long way that doesn't mean we no longer need feminism, there's still a lot of work to be done. My one big problem is faux feminists; the angry immature women who call themselves feminists but are just angry at men and call all men who disagree with their opinions as sexist, even if those opinions are not sexist at all! 

With regards to women's rights in first world countries, there is still a lot of unfairness even in America where a woman earns less than a man even for doing the same work, but the problem is much more complicated in parts of the third world where a woman's role as being less than a man because it's what's expected of them in a cultures that are centuries old. Changing the first world is easier because change is a way of life but changing the third world is more complicated and will take a lot of time and work.
