Someone, Give Me a Gun.

I'm getting tired of all these TDK discussions, which continue to inundate the forums. I'm at the point right now where I don't care what people think. Some people may like one comic book film more than that particular movie. To those people, I say, "good for you, but really, other than the fanboys out there, or the numerous other people who exhalt hossanahs to TDK, who gives a flying fuck?"

These threads need to be weighed down in cement and be thrown into the East River, for crying out loud.

Spill should make a separate discussion section under the heading Dark Knight Rants, where every fanboy, hater, and every person in between can go and bitch to death the degrees of its sheer crapulence or glory, depending on your point of view.

I'm not saying this to put anyone down. By no means whatsoever, but regardless of who puts up a post that has anything to do with the film, they all end up too painfully similar.

I'm also tired of people who use sophomoric logic to put down a point of view a person may have about the film.
EX:
Person A: "I think TDK was AWESOME!"
Person B: "Meh. It was good. Not great, but still a good film."
Person A: "OH YEAH! SCREW YOU! YOU SUCK!"
Person B: "Why?"
Person A: "If you don't think TDK is the greatest film ever, then you're an idiot."

Now, unless you're the Co-Host (much love to you, Mr. 3000), that kind of logic is bullshit. Put up a coherent rant, or shut the fuck up. Unless y'all are trying to be funny, you youngsters out there should've learned in school how to debate, and you older members should know better.

Until the next big movie comes up, though, I know that we'll have to suffer through some more of these obtuse discussions. And people wonder why I get high.
