According to the ever-so
reliable British tabloid,
The Sun, Danny Boyle is being approached by a
unnamed source in EON Films to direct the next Bond movie.

Now while I take this tabloid news with a
massive handful of salt, hearing the director of
Trainspotting, 28 Days Later, and of course,
Slumdog Millionaire take the reins of the Bond franchise could be pretty awesome. Especially after
Quantum of Solace did not meet many expectations, seeing a director with plenty of experience and an Oscar win could bring some interesting stuff to the table.
I do notice, however, whenever word about a popular director's name is attached to helm a certain film, the entertainment industry goes bonkers and hungrily reports the news to all. And while many times people scratch their heads at these reports, there are certain stories that make me say: "Yeah, that could be cool". So what do you guys think? Would Boyle make a great Bond film?
