Shadowrun started out as a Pen & Paper RPG combining the standard fantasy elements of D&D and Tolkien mixed perfectly with the grungy future techno world of Blade Runner and Philip K. Dick stories.  Where you could easily see an elf mage on a hoverbike fleeing a heist gone wrong as the building blows up behind him, or see the rich corporate men parade around town in style with a crew of Troll bodyguards geared to the teeth with assault rifles.

This kickstarter craze of established people in the industry bringing new games of their old niche franchises to their hardcore fans is amazing.  I, to this day, continue to play the Sega Genesis version of Shadowrun, an amazing game in what would now be called a sandbox world that you are able to explore and do what you want.  

So, the original creator of Shadowrun now has the rights to Shadowrun again and is wanting to make a 2D Tactical RPG that, the vibe I am getting from the video and description, would play like Fallout 1 & 2 but in the Shadowrun Universe and seems to be something much more a kin to the Genesis game vs any other videogame version of Shadowrun.  I can't wait.  I will be funding this game as soon as I take a shower and change clothes.  I hope you guys look into it and see if it is a game you would like to preorder as well.
