Mech Matt Damon in Blomkamp's 'Elysium'

The first glimpses of Matt Damon in Neill Blomkamp's 'District 9' directorial follow-up 'Elysium' have been released. Few plot details have been released for the sci-fi thriller, but the images show an obviously injured and bald-headed Damon wearing a full body mechanical exosuit. The film - which will be in theaters March 1st, 2013 - also stars Jodie Foster as an "evil-ish" head of state on the alien planet in which the film takes place (no word as to whether it's a human-colonized planet, or if all the characters are simply humanoid looking aliens):

Matt looks like he has just escaped from Jig Saw, horrified wearing some kind of mechanical death device on him. Elysium is greek/roman for heaven, I know it's not what it's about, but wouldn't it be funny if it was a SAW movie by Neil Blomkamp. Run Matthew, run!!

Funny thing is, I was at Hartford the other day, visiting my cousin, and he showed me Matt Daemon's Dorm room. What a funny world it is that now, he shaved his head bald and runs around with a bunch of sci-fi props on him.
I sure hope this movie is as good as, if not better than District 9.
